HOME : CD PACKAGING : SLIM JEWEL CASE

The slim jewel case is as popular as the standard CD case . It is half the thickness of the standard jewel case and very light weight, saving on space when stored and postage costs when mailed. It is of 2 piece construction with no removable tray. The tray or base is usually black but available in a variety of colours such as orange, purple, pink, clear and blue (as pictured). We do not recommend that you use a slim jewel case for posting important discs. Jewel cases are very brittle and the slightest pressure will crack this case. Clam shells or ejector cases are much better suited for mailing.

The maxi single jewel case is mainly used for CD singles. The tray is completely clear and the front cover has a lip to hold the all important J-Card. The case may also be cellowrapped.
