The ejector case, also known as a trigger pack, variopac and kick out pack, is a relatively new and innovative form of CD and DVD packaging. The CD slides easily into the case- much like slipping a CD into a wallet. To eject, the small coloured lever is pressed and the trigger mechanism pops the CD out. The disc is held around the edges so the recording surface remains untouched.

Why is the ejector case a great mailing or storage solution? First, the case is slim, lightweight and virtually unbreakable due its creation from a new form of polypropylene. With dimensions similar to a slim jewel case , the ejector case can be slipped easily into an envelope and mailed. But unlike the jewel case, you won't have to worry that it will arrive in several pieces. Thirdly, there are a number of trigger colours to choose from including blue, black, green and red. And if ordered in quantities over 500 units, the case can be screen printed with your logo. Lastly, the range includes: the standard slim ejector case which holds one CD only, the jewelcase version which holds a booklet up to 16 pages and both can be fitted with outer clips to store in binders.
