We can provide several CD effects which can make your CD or DVD look extra special. A matt varnish may be applied to your CD face. This works best with single colour artwork and gives your CD a slightly rough matt feel. Another effect is the vinyl groove effect used on CDs to give a retro look to audio CDs. By colouring the polycarbonate used to produce the CDs, your audio CD can look like the old 45. Black is the standard colour used but you can also choose red, yellow, blue, green or gold polycarbonate.

Pit art may be applied to the recorded side of the CD. It looks like a pattern has been etched into the silver of the disc. The extent of the pit art can limit the capacity of the disc. This is particularly useful for copy protection purposes and can be used in combination with a watermark. An image or text is placed on the underside of the disc and it is only visible when twisted into the light. This works very much like watermark on money and its application on DVD titles is increasing in popularity. We can also place your logo or website address on the inner ring on the underside of the disc.
